Ultrasonography – Pelvic
Pelvic Ultrasound Scan
Transvaginal ultrasound allows quick visualization and monitoring of the uterus, cervix, vagina, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.

Procedure
The patient is expected to empty the bladder. With the help of a vaginal probe, the process is performed. This is done to get a clear view of the uterus, endometrium, and ovaries . The exact size of the endometrium and follicles is identified.
TVS (TransVaginal Scan) is advised to diagnose unexplained pain, swelling, or infections.
An ultrasound probe is inserted in the vagina through which the pelvic organs can be visualized. A clear image of the organs can be monitored, especially in the abdominal region. This is considered to be the most crucial aspect of any infertility treatment. The complete process takes ten minutes.
